Poverty, homelessness, incarceration, violence, and suicide are just some of the negative effects of untreated mental health issues. In our community, socio-economic barriers, stigmatization, shortage of available services, the county's rural nature, transportation issues, and lack of support cause prevalent untreated chronic mental illness and substance use disorder. A Caring Solution seeks to overcome these issues by identifying and closing gaps in the system.
